Why the Simple Life?

Life is hectic and fast-paced. We're always on the go. Technology at our fingertips at every moment of the day and night. A world of opportunities! Yes, there are many advantages to our high-tech modern life. But it often comes with the high price tag of excessive stress, overwork, clutter, distractions, and very little time for the things that are truly important in life. That's why we named our company, Simple Life Soap, to remind us to enjoy the simple things in life. We need to slow down, get rid of distractions and excessive clutter.

Who are we?

First there was Abigail. For over eight years, Abigail enjoyed experimenting with and making handcrafted, natural soap for her friends and neighbors. Then there was Scott. Since 2004, Scott has created and managed several businesses. Scott and Abigail decided to join forces permanently by getting married and starting a family. Not long after, they realized they had the perfect combination for a great business. Abigail loved to make soap and Scott loved to create businesses that serve people with useful products. So in early 2018, Simple Life Soap LLC was born.

As a young married couple starting out, Scott and Abigail began to notice how much they disliked collecting “stuff”. So many material possessions use up valuable time, money, and space without adding much value to life. Scott and Abigail set out to de-clutter, de-stress, and remove distractions from their home. When trying to settle on a name for their new soap company, Scott and Abigail stumbled upon the idea of a company using simple ingredients and simple products to promote the advantages of the simple life. Motivated by their Christian faith, Scott and Abigail desire to assist people in removing clutter and distractions from their lives to enable people to serve God and their communities more fully.
